Thanks for reading This. I was thiking of an idea on how to improve your young players and maybe improve some of your older players if possible. How It Works [/u] Well the way it works is that each manager would produce a weekly training schedule. On the schedule is what each player will practice and how many practiices a day and how long each practice is. Then the age will determine how long it takes for a player to improve. For example if a 16 year old keeper has catching skill of 3....after 1 week or 2 there catching can go to 5........ Thoughts? [/center]

I think this would just take up more of Assman's time. I wuv the idea but I think it'd be better with increases every half season maybe?

I agree with kk, Assman isnt a soccer project program and can not do all that every week

I see where you're coming from....Maybe do improvements once a month or once every 2 months or what KK said and do improvemens for each player half way through the season

Yeah I like the plan, but agree that Assassin is no machine - this would just take up more time.
I think an alterative (and slightly better way of doing things) is to have "Training Ratings", and use the dice code. Every time a player hits a 7 for training rating its worth 1/4 point, 8 is worth 1/2 a point, 9 is worth 1/2 a point too and a 10 is worth 1 point. Then once a month stats are updated according to the players training performances.
That said though I think this would be difficult to implement too. Its definitely a nice plan though

Maybe Assassi could hire people to do this for him? Assistants if you will?

I really don't think learning 2 in 3 weeks is right, not every player gets to 10

Everyone makes some great points, and this is an excellent idea and discussion too. As mentioned I couldn't possibly implement this idea on my own, the weekend is taken up by match writing (and my job in the real world) and with transfers and new managers steadily coming in I already have enough to keep me busy. That being said the idea is excellent, young players should have a way of improving rather than having stats raise or lower at random, but at an acceptable rate as Shad brings up. I've mentioned this before but it's worth mentioning again, staff members will be appointed soon. I want to make absolutely sure everyone understands how this all works before getting to that, and I'm still getting a lot of PMs asking questions which I think is brilliant - you guys are taking a huge interest and most of us understand most things already.
