Who do you think will get the Newcastle job?
I think it will be Wise personally, purely because I can't see too many other people wanting to take the job until Ashley is gone.
With today's news that Mike Ashley is putting the club up for sale however, I think its a matter of whether the club is sold quickly enough to keep Wise from taking the job.
If it isn't Wise and the club is sold quickly, I can see it being either Curbishley or Keegan's return.
I only put Curbishley's name into the frame due to the timing of his departure from West Ham, but a manager of his calibre will surely be on Newcastle's short list?
Or maybe it will be someone else, maybe Harry Redknapp, Sven or even David O'Leary?
Who do you think it will be?

Here's how I see it, Ashley wants to sell the club quickly, a couple of people want to buy it. I think the club will be sold by the end of the week, and if the new owner(s) can guarantee they'll give total control to the manager I'm banking on Keegan returning.

I agree with what your saying there - if the club IS sold quick enough, I reackon Keegan is a given (at least to be asked back, and I would imagine he'd take it if he got full control as you say).

Absolutely, but let's assume the new owners want as much control as Ashley had and Keegan doesn't want to return, if that happens I'll go for Curbishley. He said after he left West Ham that he wanted to make a quick return to Premiership management, if that's true he'll take anything I bet.

Yeah - I haven't heard Curbishley officially linked with the job but I can actually see him taking the Newcastle job - though I highly doubt anyone who wants the control Ashley had will ever try and buy Newcastle - the fans have really proven their might so far, so I think any football dictators that want to buy a club will steer well clear of the North East

Yeah indeed, hell I'm a Sunderland fan and I really want Keegan back in Newcastle - sounds weird I know, but I like the guy and as much as the rivalry is between Sunderland and Newcastle I don't think I'm alone in being a non-Newcastle fan who wants Keegan back in there.
Whatever happens, I just simply refuse to accept Keegan is done with Newcastle yet.

Keegan - no chance. He's overrated and was overhyped when he came to manage them for the second time. No doubt he'll again be overhyped.
I hope Alan Shearer gets it, though I really don't care.
