With the Premiership season around a month old, watching Match of the Day I notice their Goal of the Month competition was on tonight. So, what I wanted to ask was, which one stands out for you? Personally, I liked wor Kieran's strike against Spurs, though from an unbiased perspective, and much as it pains me to say it, Alves' strike for the Boro against Hull (a free kick) was absolute perfection - the keeper had no chance. So for me, that has been the goal that really stands out, though Lampard's against City today wasn't too bad either - the build up was absolutely awesome, whereas Robinho made free kicks look easy So - what are your thoughts and opinions?

Taking into account the significance of any of the goals scored I'd have to vote for Gerrard's last minute winner against... Middlesbrough was it?
I think it was, but anyway Gerrard won it in the dying minutes of the game and Liverpool came from 2-1 behind as well, so the goal was not only brilliant but it was incredibly important to the entire team.

I think United's goal yesterday was quite good.
Probably, though I hate to say it, Jamie Carragher's strike against Middlesbrough.

If it wasn't just the premiership I'd say either Andy Robinson's goal for Leeds against Crewe last saturday.. I'll try find a vid of it..
It was either Sheehan (Second), Douglas (Third) or Robinson (fifth) either way we pwnd Crewe so bad..

Grettar Steinsson's (sp) goal on the opening day for Bolton was amazing. I've seen great goals since then but I can't remember them all.
